Carriageway resurfacing and surface dressing
Carriageway resurfacing
Carriageway resurfacing is used to renew larger areas of road where the surface has become worn, cracked or damaged. It is normally considered where the area needing repair is larger than a minor carriageway scheme.
We normally consider works as part of our carriageway resurfacing programme where the area of the road to be resurfaced is greater than 1000m². This can include longer sections of road and will generally cover it's full width. Renewing the road surface in this way helps improve the condition, safety and long-term performance of the road.
