Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)

Your child’s early years education provider could get extra funding to help with your child’s education. This will be paid direct to your provider.

You can apply for early years pupil premium if your child is aged nine months to four years old and you get any of the following:

You may also get early years pupil premium if your child is currently being looked after by a local authority in England or Wales or if your child has left care in England or Wales through:

  • adoption
  • special guardianship order
  • a child arrangements order.

How to apply

Parents/carers will need to complete the Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) section of the Parent/Carer/Guardian Declaration Form that your childcare provider will have asked you to complete.

Disability Access Fund (DAF)

Your child’s early years provider could get extra funding to help with their education and support.

This will be paid direct to your early year’s provider.

Your early years provider can apply to get Disability Access Funding (DAF) if your child receives Disability Living Allowance for children and one of the following:

You do not need to use all your hours to be eligible for disability access funding.

How to apply

Parents/carers will need to complete the Disability Access Fund (DAF) section of the Parent/Carer/Guardian Declaration Form that your childcare provider will have asked you to complete and return it to them with a copy of their DLA award letter.
