Jobcentre Plus is the government agency to help people into work.  It works with a wide range of employers to promote job vacancies. It often runs local recruitment events and has job coaches who can help people find the right type of job. Find out more about Job Centre Plus.

National Careers Service

The National Careers Service provides information, advice and guidance to help you make decisions on learning, training and work.  They provide information and support on different types of jobs so you can see if they’d suit you.

You can do a free online skills check to identify your strengths and interests to help you see which types of job are best suited to you. You can a call a careers adviser if you would prefer to speak to someone.
