If you or someone you care about needs support from adult social care, it is important to know what you can expect from us.
Our Practice Framework explains how we will work with you and the standards you can expect. It was co-produced with people who use our services, carers including unpaid carers, and practitioners - our 'Experts by Experience' to ensure it reflects what matters most to the people we support.
What is the Practice Framework?
Many local authorities have a Practice Framework. Ours is designed to help you understand what you should expect when you contact us - whether you’re making a one-off phone call for information or we’re visiting you to complete an assessment.
The framework sets out our adult social care priorities to:
- safeguard
- support
- and satisfy
It also explains our commitments and the standards you can expect from us.
Why is this important?
By reading the framework, you’ll know what you can expect from us and how you will be treated. It outlines our best practices, values, and the standards we follow to make sure everyone receives the support they need in a respectful and effective way.
In short, this framework is our guide to providing excellent care and support to the residents of Warwickshire.
