We want everyone who approaches Warwickshire Adult Social Care to know what to expect from us. Our new Practice Framework, which you can access below, explains how we will work with you.

This framework was created together with our staff and members of the Warwickshire public - our 'Experts by Experience'.These are people who have used, or are using, adult social care services, including some who are unpaid carers. They have chosen to work with us to help improve our services for everyone.

What is the Practice Framework?

Many local authorities have a Practice Framework. Ours is designed to help you understand what you should expect when you contact us - whether you’re making a one-off phone call for information or we’re visiting you to complete an assessment.

The framework sets out our adult social care priorities to safeguard, support, and satisfy. It also explains our commitments and the standards you can expect from us.

Why is this important?

By reading the framework, you’ll know what you can expect from us and how you will be treated. It outlines our best practices, values, and the standards we follow to make sure everyone receives the support they need in a respectful and effective way.

In short, this framework is our guide to providing excellent care and support to the residents of Warwickshire.
