Fees and concessions

Where fees apply, you will see these listed for each course as follows:

A: This is the full fee. You will pay this if you do not qualify for a discount.

B: This is the fee for learners aged 65 or over. Please bring evidence.

C: This rate applies for learners, or their unwaged dependants, in receipt of one of the following benefits:

  • Employment and Support Allowance,
  • Housing/Council Tax Benefit (not single persons discount)
  • Incapacity Benefit
  • Job Seekers Allowance
  • Pension Credit
  • Universal Credit
  • Income Support
  • Working Tax Credit (annual income below £16,105)

If you are claiming fee remission (B or C), some form of proof of eligibility will be required. For example, a bus pass or passport for an age-related concession or a letter from a relevant benefit agency that includes your name (please contact us if you have any queries).

For ESOL courses, please bring this evidence in order to gain remission from examination fees.
