Bulky waste
Your local district or borough council offers a bulky waste collection service. Bulky goods are generally classed as anything you would take with you when you move house.
Examples of what can be collected:
Cookers, carpets, dishwashers, vacuum cleaners, mattresses, tables, settees, televisions, wardrobes (free standing), washing machines, bed bases, bicycles.
Examples of what cannot be collected:
Builders waste, fitted kitchen units, DIY waste, roofing materials, sink units, toilets, garden waste, gas bottles.
