Taster days
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service invites you to take up the challenge! Recruitment Taster Days.
You will have the opportunity to meet with current WFRS firefighters and speak to them about the role and the responsibilities of becoming a firefighter and how they engage with our communities to keep them safe.
You will have the experience of trying out physical assessments, ladder climbing, carrying equipment and more, as well as helpful advice and guidance on how you can build up your strength and fitness.
We’ll also talk you through the recruitment process, our values and behaviours, our commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, how long the process takes and what it’s like being a firefighter for WFRS whether it’s whole-time or on-call.
Our firefighters play a huge part in making Warwickshire the best it can be. You’ll improve the county and see just how much of a meaningful difference you can make to its people, and simply put, you’ll enjoy working here because of that.
