Fares

Daily, weekly and monthly tickets can be purchased from the bus driver.

  • Adult - £1.70
  • Child - £0.75* (not available before 0900 Mondays to Fridays)
  • Mini Family Ticket - £1.70 (1 adult and up to 2 children)
  • Maxi Family Ticket - £3.00 (2 adult and up to 4 children)
  • Group Ticket - £5.00 (Up to 5 adults)
  • Weekly Season Ticket - £6
  • Monthly Season Ticket - £22
  • Warwickshire Concessionary Bus Pass Holders - Free after 0900 Mondays to Fridays and all day Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays
  • Non Warwickshire Concessionary Bus Pass Holders can only Park and Ride for Free after 0930 Mondays to Fridays and all day Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays

*Children travelling before 9:00am Monday to Friday - single fare applies at £0.70 each way.

Quarterly and annual tickets are 60% cheaper than the equivalent town centre car park season tickets. These tickets can be purchased from Johnsons Coaches by calling 01564 797000, or by collecting an application form from the customer services building on site.

Timetable

Mondays to Saturdays buses every 10-15 minutes

  • Site open 0730 – 1930
  • First bus leaves Park and Ride site at 0735
  • Last return from Bridge Street at 1910 and Wood Street at 1912

Summer Sundays and Bank Holidays buses every 15 minutes

  • First Sunday in April to last Sunday in September
  • Site open 0930 – 1930
  • First bus leaves Park and Ride site at 1000
  • Last return from Bridge Street at 1900 and Wood Street 1902

The Stratford Park and Ride is closed on the following days:

  • Christmas Day
  • Boxing Day
  • New Years Day
  • Sundays (first Sunday in October to last Sunday in March)

Overnight parking

Parking overnight on the Stratford Park and Ride site is not allowed. Please use the off-street car parks in the town centre operated by Stratford-on-Avon District Council.

Location

Stratford Park and Ride is located off Bishopton Lane near to the roundabout with the A46 (T) and the A3400 Birmingham Road. Signs have been provided on the approach roads from the north and west to direct drivers to the site.

From the M40

Leave at junction 15 and take the A46 South, signposted Stratford. At the first roundabout stay on the A46, taking the second exit. Stay on the A46 for approximately 3 miles and then at the next roundabout take the second exit, signposted Bishopton. The Park and Ride site is approximately 200m on the right.

From the A3400 Birmingham / Henley in Arden

Stay on the A3400 until you pass a Mini Garage on the left hand side. At the next roundabout, take the third exit, signposted Bishopton and the Park and Ride site is 200m on the right.

From the A46 (West) Evesham / Alcester

Stay on the A46 until you pass the Wildmoor Spa and Health Club on the left hand side. At the roundabout stay on the A46 taking the first exit signposted Stratford. At the next roundabout take the fourth exit, signposted Bishopton and the Park and Ride site is 200m on the right.

Environmentally friendly buses

The Stratford Park and Ride bus service is operated by state-of-the-art hybrid buses, combining electric and diesel power to deliver fuel savings, thus producing fewer emissions and less noise than conventional diesel buses. We actively support environmentally friendly transport and is proud that Stratford Park and Ride will be running the first hybrid bus service in the Midlands.

Low floor easy access

The low floor Hybrid buses are also fully accessible to mobility impaired customers.

Concessionary Travel

Stratford Park and Ride is included in the local Warwickshire Concessionary Travel Scheme operated by the County Council. The local scheme offers free travel on bus services in Warwickshire for Warwickshire concessionary bus pass holders after 9am weekdays.

However, non Warwickshire concessionary bus pass holders comply with the national minimum concessionary scheme - with the off peak time limits for when you can use your concessionary bus pass being from 9.30am on weekdays. Therefore, if a non Warwickshire concessionary bus pass holder attempts to use their pass on the Stratford Park and Ride before 9.30am weekdays, it will not be accepted.
