The process outlined below ensures Warwickshire County Council complies with the Local Authorities (Standing Orders) (England) Regulations 2001.
Senior managers are:

Chief executive

Chief officers

Deputy chief officers

Any other officer who reports to a chief officer, other than in a clerical, secretarial or support service role.
Senior managers will be recruited in the normal way. However, if you are shortlisted your application form will be passed to Cabinet members (unless you have withheld your consent to do this) who have 10 days to raise an objection to an appointment. This ensures elected members are able to contribute their views.
