Introducing a one-way system, right turn ban and traffic calming feature on School Lane, Warmington.

Scheme overview

Under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, we propose to:

  1. Introduce a one-way traffic flow upon School Lane, Warmington, as described in Schedule 1 below.
  2. Introduce a right turn ban as described in Schedule 2 below.

As part of the above-mentioned scheme, we further propose to install a traffic-calming feature as described in Schedule 3 below.

Schedule 1

Proposed one-way traffic flow: School Lane, Warmington

From its junction with B4100 Banbury Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 47 metres – one-way traffic flow in a south-easterly direction only.

Schedule 2

Proposed prohibition of right turns: B4100 Banbury Road/School Lane, Warmington

No right turns for vehicles travelling in a northbound direction along the B4100 Banbury Road, into School Lane.

Schedule 3

Proposed traffic-calming feature: School Lane, Warmington

Proposed build-out (as a traffic calming feature) on the south side of School Lane, at its junction with Chapel Street.
