Welcome to Warwickshire – the ‘Spectator Stage’

This summer is all about cycling once more in Warwickshire, as The Women’s Tour is returning to the county on Thursday 13 June 2019.

Warwickshire will be hosting Stage 4 of the Tour this year. This means elite cyclists such as Lizzie Deignan Last years Warwickshire Stage Winner Sarah Roy and reigning Women’s Tour champion Coryn Riveria, will be racing the roads of the county once again!

Whereas the Women’s Tour’s three previous visits to the county – raced into Stratford-upon-Avon (2016) and Royal Leamington Spa (2017 and 2018) – have ended in sprint finishes, this year’s 158.9-kilometre test promises to play a crucial part in deciding who will win the OVO Energy green jersey.

An OVO Energy Women’s Tour first: Stage 4 of the 2019 race will culminate in a Queen of the Mountains Finish location on top of Burton Dassett Hills Country Park having already passed the finish twice – a total 158.9  kilometre leg from Warwick  to Burton Dassett Hills County Park.
