Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) – what we’ve done

This page contains information on what we have done with your comments, compliments and complaints, and other information on how we are developing services within Warwickshire.

Local offer annual feedback report

We have a duty under section 30 of the Children and Families Act to publish comments on the local offer to show what children, young people and parents/carers have said, and how we’ve responded.

Warwickshire local offer flyer

We’ve designed a flyer to promote the Local Offer to parents, carers and professionals. The Family Information Service takes the flyers to outreach events across the county.

If you would like to receive some free flyers, please contact the Family Information Service: 0845 090 8044 / 01926 742274.

SEND programme workshops

SEND Workshop report 2016.

In 2015, the SEND Programme’s governing Board agreed that instead of having a small group who met regularly, it would be better to hold twice-yearly workshops open to everyone with an interest in SEND. This would allow a wider range of people to be involved, including parents and carers, and children and young people.

Co-production guide

Working together to make something happen is a key part of Warwickshire’s SEND Programme. Parent/carers and professionals from Education, Health and Social Care worked together to make this guide to explain how it works. The guide is also used to train officers at Warwickshire County Council. Find out what co-production is all about and why it is important:
