Moving schools within the school year

I would like to change my child’s school?

We refer to this as ‘in-year admissions’. We are experiencing an extremely high volume of in-year admissions currently, but we are working our way through these as quickly as we can. Please note that it is taking 3-4 weeks to process in-year applications at the moment, from the date that the full application is received by the Admissions Service.

We are moving into the area and would like to apply for a school place for my school-age child?

You can find further information and the online application form for in-year school admissions.

I would like to change school and apply for a Grammar school place and my child is 12 or over.

If you wish to apply for a grammar school and your child is 12 or over, then you would need to complete a Change of School Form.

You would then need to contact the school themselves who will arrange testing with you directly.

How can I check what the catchment areas are for Warwickshire schools?

We have catchment area maps for primary, infant, junior, secondary schools and grammar schools within Warwickshire. You can click where you live on the map to show the priority school for the area.
