Looking after your loan items

Please check items for obvious damage before you leave the library. You are responsible for any loss or damage while they are on loan to you.

Free streaming music

Our Naxos Music Library allows you to listen to a range of music from your computer for free, including classical, jazz, folk, world, new age and Chinese.

Naxos Music Library – enter your library card number (above the barcode) if you are using a non-library computer.

You will need:

  • your library card number;
  • to allow pop ups in order to select and listen to tracks.

Select the quality of the music. Choose ‘Near CD’ if you have a broadband connection. Dial-up users may find that ‘FM’ works best.

When leaving the service, please use the ‘logout’ button (in red at the top of the home page).

You will need Adobe Flash to listen to the music. Download Adobe Flash.

For visually impaired users

Music CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays are free to people registered blind and partially sighted.
