Bidford Senior Citizen Action Network
Action network

Bidford on Avon SCAN (Senior Citizen’s Action Network) is the voice and the information service for all people over the age of 50 living in Bidford on Avon and neighbouring villages. SCAN meets bi-monthly at the Jolly Teapot coffee mornings in the Church Rooms, Church Street, Bidford at 10.30am on the last Thursday of alternate months of the year: January, March, May, July, September and November.

It occasionally holds additional meetings when there is an important matter that needs discussing, or there is a special reason. Bidford is one of six SCAN groups in Stratford on Avon District, and has close links with its sister organisations. Members have the opportunity to learn about and to make their own views known on the work done for older people by the local authorities in Warwickshire, the NHS, and voluntary agencies such as Age UK and the local public participation networks. Please feel free to come and join us.
