Design the start flag
Secondary Schools and Colleges in all 5 districts of Warwickshire are invited to draw pictures and images for the Start Flag at the start of Stage 7 in Warwick.
Entrants can use any medium to draw the image. Any colours are allowed. The winning image will be interpreted or scanned on to the flag.
If you are looking at entering, please ensure all the pictures have the entrant’s name, age & school on the back in pencil for identification. We will then seek permission from the winning establishment to feature the children in any press. Some of the artwork may be featured on our website but we will first seek permission before we do this.
Designs and ideas for the trophy should be drawn on the template in full colour. Designs and ideas for the start flag should be drawn on a blank sheet of A4 paper, in landscape, in full colour.
Prizes
The winner of the trophy competition will get to come along to the race and present their trophy to the winning cyclist, whilst the winner of the flag competition will get the chance to start the race. Both artists will also win goody bags.
