Group Positive Parenting Programme (Triple P)
Effective parenting strategies for parents/carers who have children aged 0 to 12. This course is available free of charge through Warwickshire County Council. It runs for eight weeks and consists of four 2-hour sessions held weekly. This is then followed by three 15-30 minute weekly phone calls, then a final group session. The groups are usually small, 10 to 12 parents and cover a range of topics including: your child’s development, behaviour problems, any other parenting issues, effective parenting strategies.

Online Positive Parenting Programme (Triple P)
This course is available free through Warwickshire County Council. It consists of 8 modules which can be completed one a week or more or less intensively depending on the time you have available.
The course is suitable for families with children aged up to 12 and will help to encourage good behaviour and manage misbehaviour, settle tantrums, teach your child new skills and take the stress out of shopping.

Care for the Family – Time Out for Parents
Care for the Family offer a range of parenting courses to support you and to help you build a strong and secure relationship with your child, whatever their age. They are run in community venues around the country and are usually made up of six 2-hour sessions, led by trained facilitators.
This is a free online course run by Family Lives consisting of six interactive modules with examples, quizzes, pictures and audio content. It is aimed at parents of children up to age five but would also benefit parents of children up to age eight. There is no time limit to complete the course.
Note: this course requires Internet Explorer or Google Chrome to run. It will not run on iPads or mobiles using Safari.
To register, email [email protected] with your full name, the first part of your postcode and your email address. Allow 10 working days to be sent an email link to the course with a unique username and password.

Children and Family Centres
Children and Family Centres run a variety of parenting workshops, often through midwives and health visitors. Contact your local centre to see what workshops are running and the support they can offer to you and your family.
