Hartshill Hayes Country Park
. The country park, covering 137 acres of woodland and open hilltop has magnificent views across the Anker Valley. Opened by Warwickshire County Council with assistance from the Countryside Agency in 1978, the species rich woodlands have been traditionally managed which has led to the site receiving the Forestry Authority's 'centre of excellence' award. Visitor Centre The Visitor Centre includes an interpretive display, and a shop selling leaflets, gifts, hot and cold drinks, chocolate bars and crisps. The Visitor Centre is open every Saturday and Sunday afternoon in the Summer 2 - 5pm and from 1pm - 4pm October to March (except in emergencies).
