Application process for a licence agreement

When a suitable unit is available you can complete an application form and submit it to us, with a copy of your business plan. Once both have been received the application process can begin.
  • Two references will be obtained, one is required to be a financial one e.g your bank manager or accountant.
  • A credit check will be carried out on the company &/or individual directors or owner(s) of the company.
  • Once both have been received and are satisfactory, you will be asked to attend a meeting to discuss the company's business proposal.
  • Once the meeting has taken place a recommendation of whether to offer you a licence will be made. Notification of the outcome will occur within 7 days.
  • Successful applicants will have a 28-day licence agreement drawn up between themselves and Warwickshire County Council.
  • A invoice will be raised for the deposit (one months inclusive licence fee) and your first one months inclusive licence fee..
  • Once the licence has been signed and the invoice has been paid, the keys will be handed over and you can move in.
  • Companies moving in are expected to leave the centre within six years. This is to ensure that units are readily available to help the next batch of new start up companies.
