Ancestry.co.uk and Warwickshire County Record Office are aware of indexing errors in Warwickshire's parish registers and are working together to identify and correct these. An update is planned for early 2012. If you experience a problem please use the reporting option on the appropriate page to inform Ancestry about it or if you are using a library or record office computer then please email recordoffice@warwickshire.gov.uk with full details of the problem including the DR reference, parish name, date, search term used and whether it is a burial, baptism or marriage.
News
Due to a reduction in our core funding the following changes to our public service arrangements will be implemented from September 2011:
1. Staffing levels in the Searchroom and Catalogue/Index room will reduce from 3 to 2 people
2. We will no longer be able to guarantee the production of documents between 12.15 and 14.15, though the service will try to provide additional staff cover to allow this to happen where possible.
