Warwickshire Rural Access to Services Partnership (WRASP)

The Rural Access to Services Programme (RASP) is an initiative from Advantage West Midlands (the Regional Development Agency) which replaces the previous Rural Transport Partnerships managed by the Countryside Agency
. Each of the Shire Counties in the West Midlands region, and Telford & wrekin Borough Council were invited by Advantage West Midlands (AWM) to form a RASP.

Key Themes & Aims of the WRASP
  • Sustainable movement of people and places
  • Sustainable provision of services to people
  • Sustainable provision of information and technological solutions
The WRASP strongly supports and compliments the Warwickshire Accessibility Strategy which has been developed as part of the second Local Transport Plan.

Whilst the Accessibility Strategy aims to improve access to services across the whole County, the WRASP is specifically concerned with rural accessibility.
