This might include:
- helping you fill in the necessary forms
- talking to you about schools in your area
- or simply answering any questions you may have
If your child is due to start primary school or move to secondary school and you feel you need support with the application for whatever reason – why not contact the School Transfer Coordinator to see whether she can help.

Admissions regularly receive in excess of 200 parents who do not engage with the transfer process. This number was reduced to less than 10 for admissions in 2008 with the help pf the School Transfer Support Service.
The School Transfer Coordinator will advise and help you but not make a decision for you. The School transfer Coordinator will make sure you get all the information needed to help you come to your decision.
Getting help from the School Transfer Coordinator will not guarantee your child a place in their preferred school. She will help you assess all the options and make sure that you have considered the schools, which may suit your child’s needs and interests. |
