Community Planning
In 2000 a duty was placed on local authorities to prepare community plans for their areas. The main aim of the community plans was to improve the economic, social and environmental well being of the area.
The community plan for Warwickshire County Council was called the County Strategic Plan.
This has now been replaced by the work of the Local Area Agreement which operates through the Public Service Board.
A Sustainable Community Strategy is being developed and will sit over the LAA and link to the District Community Plans.
