Welcome! Thank you to everyone that joined us for the 2008 Warwickshire Walking Festival.

We are sorry to say that the Warwickshire Walking Festival will not be taking place in 2009. The future of the Walking Festival will be included in a forthcoming review of Countryside Services at Warwickshire County Council. News of any future festivals will be posted on this website.

The Warwickshire Walking Festival features dozens of guided walks in the County's wonderful countryside and historic towns and villages.

A range of themed walks also offer you the chance to learn about Warwickshire's rich and varied history, or even hear local ghost stories! You can learn more about wildlife and a range of other subjects, including well known local figures such as Shakespeare and George Eliot.

All walks differ in length, duration and difficulty and full details of each walk are provided on these pages and in the Festival Guide, to help you select the right walks for you!
