One of the biggest changes to the way that we organise and deliver social care services in Warwickshire is the level of involvement we hope our customers will have both in the commissioning of new services across the county and also reviewing our existing services to ensure they are meeting the needs of all our customers.
Co-production is when customers influence the support and services that they receive, or when groups of people get together to influence the way services are designed, commissioned and delivered.
Through the assembly, customers can be involved in the following ways:
Here you can listen to Tony's experience (mp3, 55mb) of being involved with the assembly.
Over the past months, members of the Transformation Assembly have been involved in lots of projects within the Transformation Programme, which is a really great achievement.
Please see attached the third highlight report (pdf, 80kb) which provides more details of the projects undertaken and the difference made by Assembly members involvement. Also the report highlights future projects which will be starting over the next few months. It is envisaged that a highlight report will be produced and circulated approximately every three months or when a number of projects have been completed.
