Special Educational Needs Reference Documents

Section 1

This Reference File sets out Warwickshire’s Strategic and Operational Policies for SEN and seeks to bring together all information relating to all aspects of SEN. It is written for schools, governors, support services, professionals and other agencies, working within and with the Local Authority, to support and guide their work with children and young people who have special educational needs.

This File contains policies and guidelines written or revised in response to legislation and local policy development, including the Children and Young People Plan and the Local Area Agreement.

The most up to date version of the Reference File for Special Needs and Inclusion will always be available on the Warwickshire website from which an electronic copy can easily be downloaded.

This page brings together all the policies and guidance produced by the Local Authority in relation to Special Needs. It also includes, where appropriate, model school policies, specimen letters, useful addresses and contact numbers etc.
