Select list of civil engineering contractors

When we decides to construct civil engineering works, tenders are invited from contractors on the 'select list of contractors'. The list applies when the cost of the works is less than the EU limit, which is currently £3.5 Million.

A new select list is produced every five years. At the beginning of the process adverts are placed inviting applications. Further applications will not be considered during the five year period.

Contractors who have applied for inclusion are assessed against stringent financial and quality requirements stipulated by us. The new select list operates from 23 January 2008 and further details can be obtained from the below documents;
