The third Local Transport Plan (LTP3) came into effect on 1st April 2011. The Plan covers the period 2011-2026 and replaces the second Local Transport Plan (2006-11).
The Rights of Way and Recreational Highway Strategy 2011-2026 is Warwickshire’s second Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP) and forms part of Warwickshire's third Local Transport Plan (LTP).
A strategic approach that identifies the optimal allocation of resources for the management, operation, preservation and enhancement of the highway infrastructure to meet the needs of current and future customers (i.e. taxpayers and other users of the transport network).
The station travel plan sets out ways to reduce barriers to access for people wanting to travel to the station and increase the number of people who travel to the station in an environmentally friendly manner.
This strategy brings together existing strategies related to home to school travel to identify ways to improve services, and is a source of information to parents on the travel options
The purpose of this Strategy is to set out what is needed in Warwickshire over the next five years to ensure excellent bus services that will address the needs of both current and potential passengers in Warwickshire and deliver the transport objectives of the Government and the County Council.
