We are a free and impartial information and signposting service for families with children and young people aged 0-20 years. We provide a wide range of information on issues affecting family life including childcare, child safety, financial help for parents, information and tips on parenting, disability support and working parents employment rights.
We also provide information, resources and services to help support professionals working with children, young people and families within the county.
We can provide you with a number of FIS resources to support you in your professional role on a wide range of family issues. These can either be downloaded from our webpages or you can order hard copies of these resources by contacting us.
The FIS Outreach Service delivers service information out and about in the local community. Service delivery can vary from giving formal or informal talks on a one-to-one basis or to groups of parents, practitioners or services to providing leaflets and signposting information or providing a presence at school and community events.

The Family Information Service (FIS) Practitioner Pack is an information and signposting tool for anyone working with children, young people and families within the county of Warwickshire. It provides professionals with information on who we are, what we do and more importantly, how we can support you in your professional role.

The FIS also produce a number of resources to help you in your work with children, young people and families.
The financial help factsheets are updated in May and November each year to ensure that the information is up to date and takes account of any changes to current government legislation.
