In line with the National Music Plan, we offer the following services to schools, colleges and community groups
Music Production
We offer curriculum advice and support for music technology by providing one to one or small group music production software workshops for teachers to provide assistance with midi and audio sequencing using Logic or Garageband. From the basics to the more advanced features as and when you need them.

Music Technology/IT Skills
We can offer advice on your current music technology equipment, advise on whether or not to upgrade, including the most suitable outcome for your needs and budget. We can also offer advice on the acquisition of music technology equipment, software and hardware and we can also set up, install and configure your system and offer training to suit your needs.

We can also provide advice and support on the use of tablet devices such as iPads and music apps, including cloud based resources and VLE’s for publishing and sharing music including Charanga and numu.org to encourage and promote pupils independent working.

Workshops
Recording
We can offer workshops in sound recording, from using portable recording devices for documenting coursework to sampling and sound manipulation and full sound recordings in a studio. We can also assist with the recording of any GCSE or A level music submission.

Music Sequencing (Garageband, Logic)
We can provide music production workshops using Garageband or Logic. Focusing on learning the basic and more advanced features of these music applications alongside the creation of original music.

CD/Digital Album Project
We can assist with recording and producing a CD and/or digital album focusing on the various stages of releasing a product from the creation of original music to the production, manufacture, marketing and promotion. Pupils take on a role within a record company –from creating music, contracts, design, manufacture, promotion and release.

Composing and Songwriting
We can provide a range of workshops that focus on song styles, structure, melody, harmony, lyrics, verse, chorus, hooks and turning initial ideas into finished songs.
Workshops in composing music to film / television – Content includes a focus on the functions of music and sound in film and television and composing appropriate music for characters, mood, and story.

Music Industry / Copyright / Music Publishing
Music industry – focusing on copyright and music publishing, rights ownership and royalty entitlements, royalty collection societies. We can also provide workshops and talks from visiting artists and music industry representatives.

Project design and delivery of BTEC, A Level Music Technology
We can deliver or assist in the delivery of GCSE, A level Music Technology and also provide support for teachers on project design and delivery of Composing, Music Sequencing and Recording units.
