Locality Working Strategy

The objectives and working arrangements that are being put in place to improve working with locality groups.

Our Vision for Locality Working is that we will:

Improve and Simplify the ways in which the County Council and the Public Sector as a whole engages with local people and communities;
Give local people and communities an improved opportunity to tell us what their priorities are;
Work with elected members, partners and local people to identify and resolve local issues and problems;
Improve the services that the public receives and use public money as effectively as possible;
Join up service delivery at a local level including delivery of the Local Area Agreement and our shared agenda for Narrowing the Gap;
Provide a local voice for the Warwickshire Public Service Board, and the five district Local Strategic Partnerships and inform the Sustainable Community Strategies and Local Area Agreement;
Support the Leadership role of elected members from the Town and Parish, District: Borough and County Councils.
