The Warwickshire County Youth Viol Consort 'Gutted' currently consists of six players (2 treble, 2 tenor, 2 bass) who play music from the renaissance through to the present day, specialising in folk and contemporary music.

'Gutted' has played in a variety of venues across Warwickshire and beyond; regular venues include Canons Ashby (National Trust), The Early Music Exhibition at Greenwich and the international Festival de Viole de Gambe at Asfeld in northern France. In July 2011, ‘Gutted’ travelled to New York to perform with American viol players, extending the horizons of this group of young musicians who have already performed extensively in England and France.

Together with the County Youth Waits, Gutted forms part of the Warwickshire Early Music Academy (WEMA) which co-ordinates and develops performance opportunities for Early Music groups throughout the County.

The director, Jacqui Robertson-Wade, an experienced viol player and teacher, is the co-ordinator of the Warwickshire Early Music Academy (WEMA), which exists to co-ordinate and develop performance opportunities for Early Music groups throughout the County.
