Budget 2011/2012 - medium term prospects
Within the restricted financial environment expected over the medium term we will continue to focus our efforts to ensure the delivery of value for money across the authority and the provision of cost-effective services. Our aim remains to ensure value for money (through a cost to performance comparison) is upper quartile for all services.
As part of the 2011/2012 budget resolution, Council approved an outline medium term financial planning framework for the next three years. The framework included a series of reviews and approved a number of indicative medium term spending and savings proposals.
