This document provides a sense of the direction in which we want to move over the coming years. It has been supported by an extensive programme of engaging and consulting our citizens, service users, staff and partner agencies to produce this new scheme for 2009 onwards bringing together the three new equality strands (age, faith and sexuality) alongside the existing three (disability, gender and race). We believe this is an outcome focused scheme and forms the foundation for a single equality scheme across public sector agencies and partners across Warwickshire.
