Environmental business support

We provide free advice and assistance to help Warwickshire Businesses improve their environmental performance and meet their legal obligations. This free service is separate from enforcement bodies and all information is treated as confidential. Our services include:

Advice on improving profitability by reducing waste and improving energy efficiency.
Advice on recycling opportunities.
Assistance with environmental improvement projects.
Advice and audits to identify potential savings and areas of non compliance.
Environmental information.
Seminars and workshops on a range of environmental topics.

A free site waste and/or energy audit can be arranged, to highlight areas for improvement and identify potential savings and areas of non-compliance. In addition audits can focus on any specific issues of concern. We also provide help and advice with environmental projects. Car share

Car share is now available for all private companies and organisations in Warwickshire.

Workplace travel plans

Encourage and enable staff to choose alternatives to single-occupancy car-use, and promote greener, cleaner travel choices.

Commercial disposal sites

Warwickshire County Council has two household waste recycling centres (HWRC's), which will accept commercial waste on a chargeable basis.

There are also private disposal sites in Warwickshire which will accept commercial waste on a chargeable basis, details of these sites can often be found in the Yellow Pages or in the Netregs waste directory.

Stratford on Avon District Recycling Scheme

Verdant Group in partnership with Stratford On Avon District Council offer a recycling scheme to businesses to collect mixed recyclable materials (charge applies) with a choice of container size and collection frequency. For more information call 01789 293722 or email info@verdant-group.co.uk

Leamington and Warwick Recycling Scheme

HW Martin (operators of Princes' Drive Recycling Centre) will collect cardboard, paper and plastics from businesses in the Warwick and Leamington Spa area (charge applies). For more information call 0800 1214879 or email recycling@hwmartin.com

Skills for Climate Change programme
