, and helps combat Climate Change

Eco-Schools
is an environmental programme for primary and secondary schools. It is run at local and national level. Schools carry out environmental projects and gain prestigious awards. The programme is student lead and can be integrated into the curriculum. Most schools are already carrying out work such as ‘Healthy Schools’, Recycling, Composting and School Travel Plans which will help them gain an award
