Our vision for all of our children and young people shows how we can make a real difference to the quality of their lives and those of their families.

"In my role as Strategic Director for Children, Young People and Families, I carry the statutory responsibility for delivering the outcomes and services that children need. This is a real privilege and a daunting task, but it is one that we can only achieve by working in strong partnership with other organisations.

Over the past two years The Children’s Trust (Council, public and voluntary sector organisations) has been working in an integrated way. We thank all our partners and staff who work daily in an inspired and dedicated way with children and young people right across the county."

    This is an appropriate time to be reviewing our priorities and the way we function, and a radically different structure is proposed for the future. A Development Programme is underway to manage this change process.
