  • Dogs in the countryside

Follow these simple steps to ensure you and your pet have a safe and enjoyable visit.

  • Advice on using rights of way

When visiting the countryside, prepare for your visit by taking suitable clothing for the (unpredictable!) weather conditions, and making sure you wear strong footwear. A walk around one of Warwickshire’s Country Parks will not require much further preparation, but it’s always best to let someone know where you are going, and what time you should be back.

  • Children's parties in the park

An exciting range of activities makes this a great venue for your child's birthday.

  • Volunteering in the countryside

The Countryside Recreation Team works with volunteers, both in the Country Parks and on the Public Rights of Way network throughout the county.

  • Countryside publications

Browse our list of countryside publications for walks and trails, cycling opportunities, latest Ordnance Survey maps and much more.

  • Commemorative programme

Our programme to 'Commemorate and Celebrate' gives people the chance to commemorate a person or event, or celebrate a major milestone in life, such as birth or university graduation, through the planting of a tree, dedication of a bench, or give a donation, and we can also arrange for the scattering of ashes at our Warwickshire Country Parks.

  • Common land and village greens

We deal with applications to register new village greens, where it can be shown that new greens have come into existence, by virtue of long usage by local communities. We can supply application forms for use in this context.

  • Environment education

Come and get up close to your environment with Warwickshire’s Country Parks. Come for a whole day or half a day, the choice is yours. We would love to see you and your class this year in our beautiful country parks.

  • Outdoor education

Centres at Marle Hall (Wales) and Kingsbury Water Park offer a range of activities to enthuse, develop and inspire young people and adults to learn in an adventurous environment.
