37 hours, 12 month fixed term contract (would consider term time only)
The ICT Development Service is part of the Children, Young People and Families Directorate and provides a comprehensive range of ICT services and training to schools to help raise standards in teaching and learning.
Developing e-communications and e-learning resources with schools are two important strategies for the ICT Development Service to help meet the Government’s agenda in raising standards in teaching and learning. The opportunity has arisen for a 12 month fixed term contact for an e-communications administrator to be responsible for publishing and managing content using a range of e-communications tools that includes portal and web technology. A key component of the role will be to ensure web governance is maintained for all published content in the new website www.WL4L.com.
You will be a highly committed, technically inquisitive professional who excels in:
- communicating clearly and precisely in writing
- structuring and organising information
- using e-communications as an effective method of communication
- clear precise and succinct verbal communication
- delivering quality customer care
You will need to possess drive and enthusiasm working in this fast changing environment, supporting the Service Development Officer and the Finance and Administration team in a busy and vibrant office environment. Term time working would be considered for the right candidate.
Not only will you possess good IT skills, you will be organised, meticulous and have the ability to work to deadlines. You will also be required to demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and commitment and be able to communicate with people at all levels.
