Whether you come to unwind or have fun, there’s plenty for all at Draycote Water. Set in the heart of Warwickshire, Draycote Water is situated off the A426 one mile south of Dunchurch near Rugby.

The site’s flat five mile perimeter access road is ideal for a leisurely stroll, run or cycle. The hill top car park at Hensborough Hill provides particularly good views, and provides access by footpath to waterside picnic areas, whilst the countrypark offers plenty of room for outdoor games., and also holds our squirrel scamper nature trail and orienteering courses.

Please note that the Visitor Centre is now closed.

The site is open every day except for Christmas Day from 8.30am until 7pm

Activities
The Look Out bird hide provides a birds eye view of the site’s main conservation area. Depending on the time of your visit you can see migrating waders, breeding warblers or year-round residents like kingfishers, coots or moorhens.

Sailing
Draycote is a world class centre for sailing; whether your interest is dinghies or windsurfing, racing or cruising. Young or old, you are very welcome to join the Club. Please contact the sailing club on 01788 811153.

PLEASE NOTE: Dogs are not allowed around the 5 mile perimeter track at Draycote Water, although they are welcome in the country park.
