Compton Verney Art Gallery

Compton Verney, Warwick

Grade I listed Compton Verney is an award winning art gallery in Warwickshire, which opened in 2004. It was founded by British philanthropist Sir Peter Moores through the Peter Moores Foundation as a way of offering visitors informal and enjoyable ways of experiencing art.

The gallery houses a historic permanent collection of art, which includes collections from Naples, China, Northern European and a unique collection of British Folk Art. These are complimented by a changing programme of exhibitions, workshops, talks and tours.

There are also 120 acres of 'Capability' Brown parkland that surrounds the house and includes sweeping lawns and Cedars of Lebanon reflected in lovely lakes.

We look forward to welcoming you to Compton Verney, and we hope you will have an enjoyable and engaging visit.
