Warwickshire County Council’s Art’s Service is encouraging older people in Leamington to take art in the Dance4Health programme.
The project is continuing throughout the summer following the success of last terms’ creative dance sessions, and includes weekly workshops and a sharing event to celebrate their creative achievements.
Sessions are being held at Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre between 1:30pm and 3:00pm from 18 August to 15 September, and will involve a mixture of seated and standing dance.
The aim of the classes is to maintain fitness and flexibility, whilst being sociable and having fun. They are open to people aged 50 or above (no experience necessary) and cost £2.50 per session.
