Educational Psychology Service
The Educational Psychology Service is a professional psychological support service for children and young people from birth to 19 years, their families, schools, communities and other settings.
The focus of our work is to:
- Raise the educational attainment, emotional wellbeing and social inclusion of children and young people.
- Support the mental health of Warwickshire’s children and young people.
- Increase the capacity of schools and other settings to nurture children, support education, promote wellbeing and development and support pupils with particular needs and vulnerabilities.
- Increase access to the curriculum for children with special educational needs and their successful engagement with their educational establishment.
- Increase the capacity of parents and carers to promote their children’s wellbeing and development.
- Support partner professionals in their work with children, young people and families.
- Enable the Local Authority to meet its obligations under the Code of Practice on SEN (2001).
