The next Wellesbourne and Kineton Community Forum meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday 9 September at Wellesbourne Primary School at 7pm.

There’s a full agenda on offer including:

• Identifying priorities for local policing
• Young people’s update
• Sue Vining from NHS Warwickshire - talking about her role as NHS Warwickshire Manger
• Looking ahead – a chance to help shape the future of your community to include the State of the District debate – what are your big issues?
• Have your say on sport, recreation and open spaces

This provides you with the chance to help shape the future of your community – come along and have your say.

A local policing Safer Neighbourhoods Team surgery will also take place at 6.30pm, before the community forum meeting. Officers will provide feedback on the issues raised at earlier surgeries and residents will be able to hear the latest on policing in their local area.

Sergeant Darren Fretwell, Team Leader for Wellesbourne’s Safer Neighbourhoods Team said: “Residents attendance is essential to the success of forums. If you tell us about the issues affecting the local community we will make it our priority to deal with them effectively.”

Sue Vining, who will be representing NHS Warwickshire at the Community Forum, said: "We are keen to engage with people throughout the county in order to obtain their views on health services in the county. We will use this feedback to improve the services that we provide so that we can achieve our objective of delivering best health for everyone."

Community Forums are an interactive event enabling residents to learn about issues big and small affecting their area, get answers to questions and influence local decision-making. Anyone with a question about a local issue can go along and put it to officers from a range of organisations.
