A new venture, the Rugby Community Choir, is looking for new members. If you enjoy singing for fun then this could be just the thing for you.

Supported by Warwickshire County Council’s Extended Services, the choir meets every fortnight on Tuesdays at 6:15pm in the theatre at Avon Valley School. It was born from a group of members who were singing in a choir project at Avon Valley School and enjoyed it so much that they wanted to carry on.

The new Rugby Community Choir welcomes members of all ages, from eight to eighty and aims to give as many people as possible the opportunity to enjoy singing in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

Chris Blay, Extended Services Cluster Coordinator, said:
“We sing a wide range of music, slow, fast, religious and pop – anything that we enjoy! We hope to perform in at least one concert during the coming year, with some informal performances in public spaces along the way.”

New members are welcome – anyone interested in joining can ring Liz on 01788 535684.
