You can book tickets and plan journeys on-line via the National Express website. If you prefer to use the telephone to book your tickets using a credit/debit card then contact National Express on 08717 81 81 81 (please note a £1 telephone booking fee applies). Tickets can also be purchased from coach and bus station ticket offices, any National Express office, agent, or the driver (subject to seat availability).
On Monday 31 October 2011 the Government removed the half price coach travel discount scheme for over 60s and disabled customers. You can still use the scheme provided you had previously booked your ticket before midnight on 31 October 2011 and are intending to travel on or before 31 August 2012.
National Express have replaced the scheme with new discount cards for over 60's and people qualifying as disabled. These are the Senior Coachcard and the Disabled Coachcard. Basically each new card costs £10 but allows the holder to purchase tickets with up to one third off the normal price. Check the National Express website for details.
