Held in a safe environment, a wide range of road safety issues come alive in exciting presentations that will get your pupils involved. It's focus is introducing pupils to the dangers they may face on their journey to their new school in September. It's great fun, it gets the message across and it's free! WHO: Year 6 pupils moving on from primary to secondary school. WHEN: Annually every June. WHERE: The Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon WHY: To raise awareness of the road safety issues youngsters may face on their journey to their new secondary school. INCLUDING: Evacuation! - why did the coach need to be evacuated? Tread Carefully - what were pupils doing while they were walking to school? Wheels of Death -why didn't the lorry driver see the cyclist? Death Trap - was the car driver distracted? Consequences - who was taking unecessary risks?
