 | |  | Leamington Spa Food and Drink Festival, Sat 30th and Sun 31st August 2008. The summer of 2008 sees the return of the Food and Drink Festival to Leamington Spa. Now set within the Pump Room Gardens the festival showcases the best food and drink in the region and is packed full of separate smaller events; including cooking demonstrations, food sampling of a wide selection of dishes from around the world, wine sampling with expert advice and the opportunity to buy what you try, farmers markets, cocktail demonstrations and also live music and entertainment!  | |  | Coventry Festival Of Motoring at Coventry Transport Museum, Sat 6th and Sun 7th September 2008. Featuring live entertainment, family fun activities and a display of entrants’ cars staged in Millennium Place (outside Coventry Transport Museum which will have free admission over the weekend!). On Sunday, 500 vehicles will take part in a 60-mile route around the region, flagged off by the Lord Mayor of Coventry. The cars will then return to Coventry’s War Memorial Park where a packed programme of entertainment is planned to run throughout the day, including a breathtaking performance from Motostunts International. The Heritage Open Days celebrate England's fantastic architecture and culture by offering free access to properties that are usually closed to the public or normally charge for admission.
