 |  | The Environment Overview and Scrutiny Committee is committed to improving the environment through monitoring, reviewing and scrutinising the services delivered by the County Council and our partners, to the residents of Warwickshire. The committee covers a broad spectrum of issues relating to the environment, transport, highways, waste disposal, rural affairs, smallholdingsand sustainability, ensuring that our work contributes to the local, regional and national agendas.
The future work of the committee will continue to be informed by, and respond to central and local government legislation. Climate Change, Waste Management and Sustainable living will shape our programme of work alongside issues embodied within the Local Transport Plan and highways maintenance arrangements.
