is moving to Shire Hall, Old Square, Warwick CV34 4SA. It will open for business in the new venue on Monday 1st December 2008 The Ceremony Room at Pageant House will be retained for civil marriages, partnerships, naming and renewal of vows ceremonies, and can be booked via the Warwick Register Office.
The 3 Registration Districts of Warwickshire (Warwickshire North, East and South) will be amalgamating into 1 District on 17th December 2008. This will mean that births and deaths occurring in the County may be registered at ANY Register Office or oustation in the County, other than Warwick. Marriage and Civil Partnership notices may be taken for residents of Warwickshire at any of the principal Register Offices: Atherstone, Nuneaton, Rugby, Warwick or Stratford, provided that the marriage is taking place in England or Wales and both parties are already British citizens.
On 15th November 2008, Lis Boileau, who was Manager of Warwickshire's Registration Service until 2005, died at home aftter courageously battling cancer for some time. Lis worked for Registration Services for 15 years, and was much loved and respected by her colleagues for her energy, commitment to public service and compassionate nature. We mourn her loss.
