Our Registration Offices at Shipston and Alcester will close as from 31st March 2010.
The General Register Office has increased a number of fees from 6th April 2010. The main changes will be that copy Birth Death and Marriage certificates will increase from £7.00 to £9.00 and notices of marriage from £30.00 to £33.50 - full details will appear on the website after 6th April.
Nuneaton Register Office has now re-opened following its recent refurbishment.
Warwickshire is now a single Registration District (from 17th December 2008). This will mean that births and deaths occurring in the County may be registered at ANY Register Office or oustation in the County, other than Warwick. Marriage and Civil Partnership notices may be taken for residents of Warwickshire at any of the principal Register Offices: Atherstone, Nuneaton, Rugby, Warwick or Stratford, provided that the marriage is taking place in England or Wales and both parties are already British citizens.
